And So We Begin

Hello everyone, i hope you enjoy my first attempt at blogging.  I am sitting here on Sunday morning  watching a 9/11 special and  looking out at this beautiful majestic mountainside and remembering all the people who gave their lives that day.  We are now in Utah at Zion National Park and it makes me realize what a small part of the world Westlake, Ohio is.  This place makes you realize what a beautiful, great country America is and how lucky we are all to live here.

Okay, now on to the vacation.  For those of you who don't know we rented a RV in Las Vegas and are traveling to 5 National Parks covering Utah, Nevada and California. 

As I said, we are in Zion National Park in Utah right now.  Unbelievable is all I can say.  I am in awe at the mountains.  Jeff is hiking and I am unpacking and doing his laundry (some things never change). 
Had dinner at a lodge in the park last night and not only was it delicious but the place was really old west like.  There is a beautiful little town right outside the park and I plan on checking it out very shortly, then jeff and I are going hiking.  There is a shuttle that takes you to all differant points in the park and you can hike out from there.
Okay that is all for now I have to put the laundry in the dryer.
