We had to be back at the campground by 7:30, the last shuttle back to camp. Then we spent the next few hours laughing and drinking about being in the dark. We ran the generator till 8 and then had to turn it off (park rules). Jeff has this ridiculous head lamp that he keeps wearing and all I do is laugh at him. I will get a pic of it, i promise. In bed for the night at 9:00 cause their was nothing else to do. Oh yea, it was cold and raining all night also, but we were cozy in a little rv.
Wednesday was spent driving to California. 5 1/2 hours on desert road and i mean desert road. Sometimes we didn't see a car for hours. It was crazy. Up a mountain and down a mountain all day long. We would climb and climb and then he would coast this rv all the way down. That was our enjoyment for the day. No towns, no gas, no food until about 4 hours into the trip and this town was somewhere from a bad movie. One grocery store, a couple of motels that looked like the Bates family owned them. The RV "park" was a parking lot behind a store and very shifty looking. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
We arrived at Mammoth Lakes CA last night. It is a ski resort in the winter and a really cool little town. We went into town for dinner, I have not cooked anything in this RV other than breakfast. Cab picked us up at the RV park and brought us back, (by 9:30 cause that is when the cab service closes).
Jeff is going on long hike, I am not. The server at a bar we went to last night told me she only hikes in a group because there are BEARS and MOUNTAIN LIONS up there. A mountain lion was hanging around town last week and was hit by a car. Not my idea of fun. I will go to see the lakes and other interesting safer things.
Bye for now.
Lovely campground in Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon from the top
These are the rock formation in the Canyon. They are called Hoodoo's. Jeff says they look like asian people all lined up next to each other.
I just couldn't believe how far up we were. Hopefully this hike unclogged my cholesterol.

This is the rim of the canyon. Nothing to stop you from falling off or your husband pushing you.
This was at the end i wish you could see the rest of it to see how far I got tricked into going. But is was beautiful and i am glad i did it.
Much deserved pale ale. Not drinking bud light on this trip.
Jeff having a drink and planning our days ahead. He is smiling so I think he still likes me.
